Key Features

Dual Power Setup The RUPES HLR75/BETA Mini iBrid Polisher Kit can run on battery power and is designed around RUPES iBrid technology for flexible polishing work. That gives you cordless freedom for tight areas and consistent performance for detail work. Made for Tight Areas A 12 mm orbit and 3 inch backing plate make this polisher a strong fit for curves, contours, pillars, bumpers, and other compact panels where a full-size machine gets awkward fast. Ready-to-Work Kit This kit includes the tool, two 18V 2.5Ah batteries, charger, pads, compounds, towels, and Systainer. You are set up to start polishing instead of piecing together accessories one at a time.

Overview

The RUPES HLR75/BETA Mini iBrid Polisher Kit With Systainer is a compact cordless polishing kit built for detailers, body shop techs, and serious car-care users who need control in places a larger machine cannot work cleanly. This is a mini polisher designed for polishing curves, contours, and tight vehicle surfaces. Model Number: HLR75/BETA. If you spend time around mirror caps, A-pillars, bumpers, rocker areas, door handles, or tight body lines, this is the kind of machine that earns its keep quickly.

What makes this tool matter is how its size and motion work together. The 12 mm orbit paired with a 75 mm, or 3 inch, backing plate gives you the control needed for refined paint correction and finish work without forcing you into the bulk of a full-size random orbital polisher. On modern vehicle shapes with tighter curves and more complex surfaces, that smaller format is not just convenient, it is often the difference between polishing confidently and fighting the tool.

RUPES built the HLR75 around its iBrid platform, which is the big story here. The system is designed to give users dual-power flexibility, letting the tool operate within the iBrid approach while maintaining the same intended polishing performance. For real-world work, that means you are not locked into one style of operation. When mobility matters, you have battery power. When workflow matters, the platform is built around flexible power options that detail pros already look for in the iBrid lineup.

The tool itself is clearly aimed at long sessions and precision handling. RUPES calls out carefully optimized hand positions, and that matters on a small machine like this because detail polishing is all about control, not brute force. A comfortable grip lets you hold the machine steady along edges and compound curves, keep pad contact more consistent, and reduce fatigue when you are working through multiple panels or chasing a finicky finish.

The speed control layout also makes sense for the job. The electronic speed control dial is positioned to be highly visible and easy to adjust, so you can change speed without stopping the process and breaking your rhythm. That is useful when you are moving from a tighter spot that needs a gentler touch to a slightly broader section where you can work a little more aggressively. The rubberized variable-speed throttle lever adds another layer of control, and RUPES notes a safety function that deactivates the tool if it slips or is dropped.

This specific HLR75/BETA package is more than just the machine. It is a full polishing kit with a Systainer, two 18V 2.5Ah rechargeable power packs, charger, foam and wool pads, coarse and fine compounds, and microfiber towels. That matters because the buyer for this kind of mini polisher usually wants a complete setup that is ready for real correction and finishing work, not a bare tool that still needs consumables before it is useful. The included battery setup also cuts downtime. RUPES states runtime is approximately 35 to 45 minutes per full charge and charge time is about 35 minutes from empty to full.

If you are a professional detailer, reconditioning tech, collision shop, or enthusiast doing paint correction on tight body areas, this kit is a smart fit. It is not trying to replace your larger polishing machine for hood, roof, or door work. It is the specialist that handles the spots where larger polishers feel clumsy. That is exactly why tools like this stay busy in a serious detailing setup.

Pro Tip

Use the HLR75 for the panels your full-size machine makes awkward, not as a replacement for it. On bumpers, pillars, and tight curves, the 3 inch backing plate and 12 mm orbit give you better pad control and make it easier to keep the pad working flat.

Tool Nut’s Take

Tool Nut’s Take

RUPES HLR75/BETA Mini iBrid Polisher Kit is the right call for tight-panel correction

If your work lives on curves, trim-heavy panels, and cramped polishing spots, this kit makes a lot more sense than trying to force a larger polisher into the job.

• Who it’s for: Detailers, reconditioning techs, collision shops, and enthusiasts doing serious automotive polishing and paint correction.
• Why it stands out: The small-format HLR75, 12 mm orbit, 3 inch backing plate, and complete kit setup make it a true ready-to-work mini polisher instead of just a bare specialty tool.
• Worth knowing: This is a specialist machine for compact areas and contours. It is at its best as a second polisher in a full setup, not your only polishing machine.
