Strong Dust ControlThe extractor moves up to 137 CFM, which is enough airflow to keep up with sanders, planers, track saws, and miter saws. That means less cleanup, better visibility, and less dust hanging in the air while you work.HEPA FiltrationThe HEPA-certified filter and self-cleaning bag setup are built for fine dust, not just bigger chips. If you sand a lot or work indoors, this matters because suction stays more consistent as the bag fills.Starter Bundle ValueThis Festool dust extractor bundle pairs the CT 26 EI with an anti-static hose and five extra self-clean filter bags. You are set up to start working right away and keep going without immediately ordering consumables.

Overview

The Festool CT 26 EI HEPA Bluetooth Dust Extractor Starter Bundle is a mobile dust collection system built for power tool dust extraction in the shop or on the jobsite. This is a HEPA dust extractor starter bundle designed for dust collection with power tools. Model Number: CT26 STARTER. It is aimed at woodworkers, remodelers, finish carpenters, and anyone who wants cleaner cutting and sanding with less mess and less airborne dust.

What makes this bundle matter is the balance it hits between suction, capacity, and portability. The CT 26 EI pulls up to 137 CFM, carries a 6.9 gallon container capacity, and still comes in at 28.7 pounds. That is why this size is so popular. It is big enough to handle chips from planers, track saws, and miter saws, but not so bulky that it becomes a pain to move around the job.

Fine dust is where a lot of extractors start to fall off, and this one is set up to avoid that. The HEPA-certified filter handles fine sanding dust, while the self-cleaning filter bag is designed to reduce caking inside the bag. In practical terms, that helps the extractor hold suction longer instead of feeling strong when the bag is empty and weak halfway through the job. Festool also includes five additional self-clean filter bags in this starter bundle, which is a real advantage if you use sanders regularly.

The CT 26 EI is built around jobsite usability, not just raw numbers. Tool-triggered auto-on operation lets the extractor start when the connected tool starts, so you are not reaching down to switch it on every time you make a cut or start a pass. Variable suction gives you control when full power is not the right move, especially with tools or materials that work better with lighter extraction. The included 11-1/2 foot anti-static hose helps keep the setup manageable while also reducing static issues that can make dust collection less pleasant to use.

Festool also paid attention to the stuff that affects you every day. Large wheels, double casters, and an integrated foot brake make it easier to roll the extractor where you need it and keep it parked once it is there. Hose storage and cord storage are built in, so the unit stays neater in transit and takes less time to set up and pack away. The Sys3 Sys-Dock and Systainer integration are especially useful if you already work in the Festool system and want your tools and extractor to move as one organized setup.

Noise matters more than most people admit, especially if the extractor runs all day. Festool lists the CT 26 EI at 62 dB on the low setting, which helps make it a more comfortable machine to live with in smaller shops, finished spaces, and indoor remodel work. You still get serious extraction, but without the constant harsh vacuum noise that makes some units tiring over a long day.

If you want one extractor that covers sanding, cutting, and general cleanup around tool use, this bundle makes a lot of sense. It is especially well suited for serious users who value clean work, organized transport, and system compatibility, and who would rather buy once than fight with a cheaper vacuum that loses suction, stores poorly, or throws fine dust back into the room.

Why the Festool CT 26 EI HEPA Bluetooth Dust Extractor Starter Bundle earns its keep

This is the sweet-spot Festool extractor for guys who want serious dust control without stepping up to a bigger, bulkier unit.
