Freemans WS06 6Inch/150mm Wire Stripper/Cutter

DESCRIPTION

The Freemans WS06 6 Inch (150 mm) Wire Stripper/Cutter is a manual, plier-style hand tool used for both stripping insulation from electrical wires and cutting them cleanly. The tool is made from high-grade steel for durability and features insulated handles for safety.

Features:

• Size: 6 inches (150 mm) overall length.

• Material: Made from high-grade steel, typically chrome vanadium steel, which is drop-forged and heat-treated for a tough body.

• Functionality:

  • Stripper: Precision-ground blades ensure clean and efficient removal of wire insulation across a wide range of standard wire gauges without damaging the conductive core.

  • Cutter: The cutting edges are induction-hardened to a high hardness (55/60 HRC) for effective wire cutting.

• Handles: Features a comfortable, two-colorplastic dip-coated insulated grip(commonly green and black) that provides a secure, non-slip hold and protects the user during electrical work.

• Design: The pliers are often fitted with a coil spring to help reduce hand fatigue during prolonged use.

• Finish: The steel body often has an “auto black” or black phosphate finish for better resistance to rust and corrosion.
