Yamaha FZ Fork T-Rod (28mm)

The Yamaha FZ Fork T-Rod (28mm) is a precision suspension service tool from the MR (Mechanical Repair) Series. Specifically engineered for the beefy front forks of the Yamaha FZ series, this tool features a 28mm head designed to lock the internal dampening rod (T-Rod) securely. This allows mechanics to remove or tighten the bottom Allen bolt without the internal rod spinning, which is a common challenge during fork oil seal replacement or full suspension overhauls.

Product Highlights

• Precision 28mm Fitment: Specifically sized for the larger dampening rod heads found in the Yamaha FZ16, FZ-S, FZ FI, and FZ-25 series.

• Anti-Spin Security: The 28mm hex/point interface is machined to exact tolerances, ensuring it bites firmly into the damper rod to handle high-torque disassembly.

• Extended Service Reach: The long, rigid shaft is designed to reach the bottom of FZ-series fork tubes easily, providing a stable platform for maintenance.

• Industrial Strength: Manufactured from high-tensile, hardened steel to prevent the tip from rounding off or the shaft from twisting under pressure.
