Key Features

Complete Polisher Kit You get the Mark V random orbital polisher, multiple pads, compounds, towels, and a carry bag in one package. That means less guesswork and a faster path from unboxing to actual paint correction. Lower Noise and Vibration The POLYSYNTHEC gear system cuts noise and vibration compared to the previous model. On longer polishing sessions, that matters because the tool stays easier on your hands and more controlled on the panel. Balanced for Precision The 125 millimeter PrecisionPro backing pad, 15 millimeter orbit, and lower center of gravity are built for stable polishing. You get better control on curves, tighter sections, and delicate automotive finishes.

Overview

Rupes LHR15V/US/CMP LHR15 Mark V Complete Polisher Kit is a full automotive detailing package built around the RUPES BigFoot Mark V random orbital polisher. This is a polisher designed for automotive paint correction and finishing. Model Number: LHR15V/US/CMP. If you want a professional-grade machine with the pads, compounds, towels, and support gear to actually start polishing right away, this kit makes sense because it covers the core process instead of giving you just the tool.

At the center of the kit is the LHR15 Mark V with a 125 millimeter backing pad and a 15 millimeter orbit. That setup is a sweet spot for detailers because it gives solid correction ability while still staying manageable on doors, hoods, fenders, and other contoured panels. In plain terms, it is built to remove defects efficiently without feeling overly aggressive or awkward in your hands. For shops and serious enthusiasts, that balance is a big reason this style of random orbital polisher has become the go-to format.

One of the real upgrades in the Mark V platform is the POLYSYNTHEC gear system. RUPES uses composite gears that are lighter than traditional metal gears, more resistant to wear in demanding conditions, and less demanding on lubrication. What matters on the job is the outcome: smoother operation, less wasted energy, and a quieter machine. RUPES states the system delivers up to a 47% reduction in noise compared to previous models, and it also reduces vibration. That is not just a comfort feature. Lower vibration helps you keep the pad flatter, track your passes better, and stay more consistent through long correction work.

The PrecisionPro backing pad is another detail worth paying attention to. It is designed for balance across different polishing pad types, and it uses a protective rubber edge to help reduce the chance of contacting delicate surfaces with a hard backing edge. That matters when you are working around tight contours, body lines, and trim-heavy areas where a little extra forgiveness is welcome. The lower center of gravity, reduced by 13 millimeters versus the previous version, also makes the machine feel more planted. On curved panels and fine finishing passes, that extra stability helps.

RUPES also reworked the ventilation system to improve airflow and heat management. If you spend real time behind a polisher, you know heat control is not a side note. Better cooling helps the tool maintain more consistent operating conditions during extended polishing sessions, reduces stress on internal parts, and supports long-term durability. For professional detailers doing multiple vehicles or correction stages in a day, that kind of practical engineering matters more than flashy claims.

Because this is the complete kit, you are not piecing together consumables after the fact. The package includes coarse, fine, and finishing liquids, multiple foam pads, wool pads, microfiber towels, a pad removal tool, cord management clamp, detailing apron, and a semi-rigid carrying bag. That gives you a more organized setup for cutting, refining, and finishing paint, while also keeping your gear easier to store and transport. It is a good fit for mobile detailers, shop-based paint correction work, and enthusiasts upgrading from entry-level machines.

The Rupes LHR15V/US/CMP LHR15 Mark V Complete Polisher Kit is best for automotive detailers, paint correction specialists, body shop prep work, and serious DIY users who want a premium random orbital polisher with a matched system of pads and compounds. If you only need a bare tool, this is more kit than you need. If you want a well-rounded polishing setup centered around one of the best-known names in paint correction, this is the more practical buy.
